Moving plans

Energy is currently my limiting reagent. Time next, and then money.

Therefore...

I rented a U-Haul for Saturday. One trip is so so so much easier than going back and forth so many times with the van and two cars. No having to put furniture on top of the van, no having to squish in tightly packed boxes into the diagonal-across-the-van bookshelf. Just me and my seventeen foot U-Haul, to insure one trip. An hour of loading, probably two hours of unloading. Much better than the three-day process of when I moved out.

Friday after work I'll probably stop by the new place. Seana will have already moved in, most likely (she said she was planning on moving in Friday morning). I'll go say hi and check out all the new clean fabulousness and probably pick up my keys so I don't have to rely on her early Saturday morning, or wake her up or anything. Then I'll go to the synagogue with my mommy to help with the oneg (I'll be on that side of town already) and then go back to my parents house one more time to sleep.

Saturday morning, wake up, and pick up my truck, and then pretty much just load it with everything that's down in the (w)rec(k) room (I wonder if we can drive the truck close to the sliding glass door down there...). Bring it all over to the new place, unload. Not unpack. Then go buy a bed, or atleast a mattress. Possibly pick up a sofa --Alice's huge one that's currently in storage-- with the U-Haul, and THEN go unpack. Sunday I plan to spend decorating and making things pretty and organized and fabulous, and maybe buying new pots and pans, or a washer and dryer, or a dining room table, or all three, before I have to go to work on Monday and get busy.

With the situation I spoke about before... You know, the "You think you know people" entry: I have no idea what I'm going to do. No idea. I'm still trying to sort out the whole thing, but at the same time not even really wanting to talk or think about it, which could turn into total apathy.

Other than that whole whatever-it-is, Life is Beautiful! (Oh gosh, speaking of beautiful, Deb and I watched the beginning of Titanic last night and I fell for Jack Dawson all over again WOW)
