Can you fall in love with a television character? I've had these feelings once before: for Chandler Bing. And now... Logan Echolls. It's starting to go away now, but the first time Logan and Veronica kissed... Wow. Wow. Wow.

I wouldn't dream of it. what did you think of the first season? Aside from the dreamy Logan Echolls? Also, isn't this show addicting? When I rented the 1st season dvds I was watching about 6 episodes a night, on my laptop in bed. I couldn't put it away!

Same with me. It's constant, I had to find out what happened! After the Lilly Kane murder was solved, it has gotten less interesting, and I'm still not entirely sure why everything happened with Veronica's mom. Why did they want her to disappear? Just because of her saying she'd get a paternity test and possibly proving that Veronica was Jake's daughter? Why would that have anything to do with Lilly's murder?

Honestly I think Duncan is better looking. I have no idea why I'm so attracted to Logan, but when he was there helping her iwth Ben and the bomb-threat episode, it was just very sweet and moving. I wish that relationship could have gone on a little longer, but I do like her with Duncan. And I'm very glad that Duncan was the one that was with her the night of that party.

It's weird that you're watching it so fast, both seasons in a row. I actually really liked the second season, but a lot of people think it wasn't as good as the first. Weevil is one of my favorite characters and he is really important in season 2. Also, I don't hate Logan. Let me try to remember what happened with the mom. So, yeah, Clarence Weidman wanted her to be gone because she would screw up the alibi of the Kanes. Remember that story about how they were in a hotel room the day of Lilly's murder? Except Lianne saw them there at the wrong time. Remember, the whole reason for Abel Koontz being paid off was to take the investigation away from Jake Kane, so the Kanes are totally paranoid that Lianne could ruin that. I think the paternity test issue was just a bonus for them to get her away, the fact that she'd had an affair and Veronica could be Jake's was something for Celeste to hold over Jake's head to make sure he got Lianne to stay away. I think maybe they overdramatized the scene at the diner with Veronica and her mom and Clarence Weidman because Veronica didn't know what was going on yet.

Anyway, by the end of the season, that isn't why she's gone; she's gone because she's an alcoholic and can't clean up yet (hence dropping out of rehab and taking Veronica's money) and is ashamed to be around her family.

You might want to check out marsinvestigations.net because it is the most comprehensive site on the web and they break down all the mysteries.

actually, you may not want to check out that web site until after you've seen the rest of season 2. there's some spoilers.

Don't worry, you'll hate Logan soon enough.

Yeah, theor romance was fairly short-lived. I just watched him end his affair with Kendall Casablancas, will I hate him even more?

I don't want to say too much (I also don't remember much of the middle portion of the Logan storyline), but it's very interesting to see how it develops through the end of the season.
