We went and saw Marc and his band... and as you can see from the photo, my parents came out to watch them play a few songs, too. I'm so cool for bringing my parents, huh? But Marc wanted to see Aunt Rochel and Uncle Michael. Oh! and Ron met my dad! Granted, it was in a friendly capacity instead of a "this is the man I love" capacity, but it's a step.

We hung out with him and a few of his band members out in their van for a little while, just talking. Matt showed up, too, so it was a bunch of guys.. and me. Oh, and a girl groupie showed up every so often. Anyway, we had planned on going to an after party, but since we had walked down to Big Daddy's from my apartment, we walked back to go get Ron's car. We drove back to the bar, and since there was no parking and we were just running in, we parked in front of some dumpsters. Went in, said bye to Marc.. and less than 5 minutes later (probably about three minutes) we walked out and... towed car. Seriously. They were driving away with it as we ran after them. Yuck yuck yuck.

The saving grace that is my fabulous friend Bobby came and picked us up to take us to the tow place, where the woman very graciously let me get my purse out of the car, and hinted that it would be $30 cheaper in the morning to pick up the car. So I'm out $88 instead of $118, which is nice to know. Argh.

Ron's pissed, and for good reason. Tomorrow we get to walk down to the lot to go pick up his car, which is easily 2 miles away.... not THAT far but still sucky. Stupidly, my car is parked at HIS complex. They better not tow.
