And that something isn't going back to school. Not yet. I'm not going to spend money on credit hours that I'm just going to waste, not enjoy, and not do well in. I'm certainly not ready to go back full-time. Before you rag on me for this, remember that everyone is different. Full-time schooling is not right for me right now. I wouldn't do well. I still have no idea what to major in. I'm still not motivated enough to go for something that I'm not sure I want (the specific degree, I'm sure that I DO want a degree).
Besides-- I don't technically have an AA (though I have the credit amount) because there are certain classes I need to take. FSU won't accept non-AA students unless you have a 3.0. Which... yeah, I don't.
So here's what:
I'm going to get a job. A grown-up (no cashiering or customer service of any kind), non-volunteer (though I will still volunteer with LVLC), real-paying (atleast $9-$10/hour) job. Either through Adecco (though I didn't have good luck with them before) or another temp agency, or I'll look for some other job here in Tallahassee. Meanwhile, I'm going to take a class a semester at TCC. Then after a year or so, I'll be able to transfer into FSU or FAMU as a full-time student (if at that point I'm ready to do that).
So there you have it. Melissa's (academic and career) plans for the next chunk of her life.
And where am I going to live? I'm thinking Castle...
