That's me being one of the children on the log. This is before everyone else showed up and did the exact same thing, and much more before some guy actually came out of the governor's mansion to tell us not to climb on the statue, and that he was going to call the police. Oh well.
Why at the Governor's Mansion? Celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the Roe v Wade decision, and being urged to realize and speak out about making sure the decision won't get reversed. I'm glad I went :) I have a bunch more thoughts on the subject but for now they are going to be private-posted, until I figure and sort out everything.
