Me with my *four* plaques (Spirit Award, Consul's Award, Nobiles Romani Award and Most Active Award)-- there are only five plaques total :), and the pictures from my 9th, 10th, and 11th grade years (all the people who went to State Latin Forum from Godby). 12th grade it was just me, Sara, and Seana, so instead of the huge thing, we got her a mousepad with our pictures on it.

Sounds like me in the band room, with my Most Improved Guard member, White Star (highest achievement in Guard), Blazer Award (highest achievement in band) and Sousa Award (National band award). I always like walking in the room and checking them out ;)

I don't think we got anything like that in band. You walk into the band room, and you can see my pictures along with the full band, and somewhere at my house I have my band "letter" (that I always meant to sew onto my letterman jacket and never did) and another band "letter" that was framed, has my name, and stuff, that was presented to me when I was a senior.

We have the same with the full pictures, but we only got letters our junior year. Our senior year we got plaques that listed everything you did while you were in band/colorguard/winterguard. Sulzman made a joke about having to read mine outloud because I'd played five instruments, gone to multiple honor bands, etc, was in winterguard for four years, etc, was section leader/drum major. LOL.
Yeah, over-achiever to the max.

I didn't do any honor bands (they always had trouts/practices/performances during Latin)

senior year I was section leader, but I was the only one in my section (piccolo)

soo yeah. no band awards and such, except solo and ensemble stuff.

they just started having auditions for our honor band this year. Previously the band directors just haggled and traded their favorites. lol. I ended up doing it six years straight, five of those years on bass clarinet. Such a great instrument when it comes to that sort of stuff =)

The current flute section leader at my high school plays piccolo. How large was your band?

my freshman year it was 120 something, by my senior year, maybe 80

Yeah, I think the largest my band ever got was 50. lol.

what's the fifth plaque?

it's the Nobiles Romani "Club" Award.

let me verify. Nobiles Romani is the name of our Latin Club. i got the nobiles romani spirit award, the nobiles romani most active award, the nobiles romani award, and the nobiles romani presidents award.

I think the other one is supposed to have some meaning about who is most active in the "club" itself, whereas my "most active"a ward pertains to how many competitions I participated in, how many awards I won throughout the year, etc.
