padfoot standing

There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.

Padfoot brought me a present last night. Now, I bring presents to Padfoot, and sometimes they squeak. The present Padfoot brought me DEFINITELY squeaked.

He brought me a toy that he seemed to really enjoy.

An almost-dead mouse.

First step, get Padfoot away from the mouse.
Second step, freak out.
Third step, call mommy.

I know I'm not a grown up, and I know I have weird issues with disposing of dead animals, etc. Don't make fun of me being 22 and unable to handle this myself :(

Today Capelouto is going to come out and we're going to try to identify exactly what it was. I mean, it was mouse sized, but it looked like a pinky, but black. As much respect as I have for rats, I'd much prefer to think of it as a mouse.

I'm shivering just thinking about it again.

Family and Friends,

I am officially enrolled in JCC Maccabi's BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL trip this winter! Birthright Israel is an organization that takes Jewish college students age 18-26 to Israel for ten days.

I will be in Israel from December 24th to January 2nd. In a few weeks I will have a phone interview, after which they will send me all the needed information (where I am flying out of, what to bring, which specific activities I will be doing, a more complete itinerary, etc.)

I'm particularly excited because my cousin Will and I will be taking this trip together! It will be amazing to experience Israel with a member of my family.

I hope you all will wish me well on my journey! Well-wishers get more souvenirs :)
