AH, leftover tomato basil soup, how I love thee.

I have decided that the freshness from cutting, peeling, and de-seeding my own tomatoes is not worth it, and unless it's a special occasion, I'll just use Publix's canned diced tomatoes. It certainly cut down on the prep time, and my soup turned out almost as good.

I feel lame, until I remember that most peoples idea of tomato soup is Campbell's.



I am really really really excited about Yom Universal next week. REALLY.
