Floridians, pay attention!

Primaries are September 5th. Voting is from 7 am to 7 pm. Your job is REQUIRED to let you off to go vote if you cannot do it at any other time. REQUIRED.

I'm scared that the guy McBride will win the Republican nomination and that he'll be able to beat Bill Nelson (incumbent Democrat). It's enough to make me want to vote in the Republican primary so I can vote for Katharine Harris, because she has no chance this year. Sorry, lady, we hate you. Then again, I'd take McBride over Harris anyday. I just prefer Nelson much more.

As for Gubernatorial:
I've heard some bad things about Jim Davis recently. Yes, said by his opponent, but that doesn't mean that there isn't truth behind them. I need to find out the truth before I decide to vote for him instead of Rod Smith, which was not previously a contest at all as to who would get my vote. Apparently they debated recently and I missed it, but here's the article about it.

Keep yourself informed. May the best candidates win!

And for a bit of national good news:
New stem cell technique that doesn't harm embryos

I think Bush should see this as good, but instead he's all "I won't be happy till embryos aren't involved at all." Right. Well, when he wants to generate some tissue for himself, he's going to see things a different way. I have a theory that Republican's aren't bad people, merely terribly uncompassionate. As in, they don't care about other people-- but when the issue moves to them, things change. No Republicans/Conservatives/Sean/Lauren/Karen lash out at that, please. It's just a thought.">

I'm going to do this
