I didn't update at all on the 6th. There must be something wrong with me.
Atleast we don't have to deal with those 31-a-day things anymore. Yay for having a (semi) life.
After the initial splash back into the Tallahassee waters, I feel like my friends are getting bored of me. The four of us (Indira, Sara, Seana, myself) used to have some sort of stronger glue, that's now gone. Others of my friends (Sabrina and Sly) work all the time, it seems. I don't even have Deborah to hang out with. She's always at camp, out at a friends house, or this week, out of town. Both my mother and my sister (and my sister's friend) went to my mom's conference in Orlando, they'll be back Thursday. I have other friends that are mainly now "online" friends -- whether from high school or old acquaintences-- but transitioning from online to in-person doesn't always work out the way you'd expect.
What I need is an activity where I can meet more people. I mean, Americorps will provide that for me. A job would provide that for me. But since Americorps is pissing me off by making me wait so much, and I can't get a job unless I know whats happening with AC (my new abbreviation)... it's just really frustrating. All I do is clean, and get so much dust up my nose.
Speaking of, I'm on three allergy medicines now. Zyrtec, Nasonex, and then just OTC Benadryl. Taking these three is the only way I won't absolutely die. And I still feel yucky most of the time. This has been going on for a week or so. Perhaps I should regard the fact that it might actually be something serious that is NOT allergies.
Okay the pity party is over.
I finished The Secret Life of Bees
by Sue Monk Kidd yesterday. It was not really what I expected, but it was still pretty good. I'm trying very hard not to give away the plot. You read it. You can tell by the fact that I actually finished it that it wasn't superb and on the top of the list but yeah... a good read.
Today I think I will work on my room.
