ramblings/plans

Stacy negativeneve leaves today for the Netherlands! I wish her a safe and happy trip, and lots of visits back home. And by back home, I mean back home to me, and by back home, I mean not back to Las Vegas. I really wish I had gotten to see her before she left :( Work/class/financial stuff always seems to get in the way.

Today I'm seeing the doctor about my numb pinky and painful hand cramping. I assume he'll only suggest an ergonomic keyboard, a handrest, and possibly a wrist brace. I'd prefer to make sure, of course, and so I'm leaving at 1:30 to drive way the heck across town to his office to make the 2 pm appointment. Apparently 2 pm was my only choice. My only choice this week, next week, etc. Because obviously there's no way that it could be something that would actually WORK with my schedule.

The American President was good. I am now even more uber-jealous of Catherine Zeta-Jones. I forgot Michael Douglas used to be way hot. Also, whenever any actor plays an awesome political figure, it just makes me want them 89747834 times more.

Tonight I pick Deb up from Lincoln at 8. Anyone want to do an early dinner right after work?

Tomorrow I have off, but tons of errands, including absolutely finally taking the math clep test. I don't even care which one I take, I just want my credit already.

Right before Big leaves New York, he and Carrie dance in his empty apartment to Moon River. I haven't seen this episode or heard this song in awhile, but it's pungent in my thoughts. It's very tearful and I'm sure there's some underlying meaning to why this affects me so much, and why I've been thinking about it so much recently.
