Aug. 9th, 2007

Spent the evening first with my sister, inflicting Jeopardy on her teenage soul.

And then (from 8 pm on) with... 'idk, my bff Bobby?' And his fiancee Jen (dude I accidentally typed Ken. Twice).

Los Compadres buffet night, where I saw the quite elusive D.K.

And then a hilarious session of board games, which Tuberculosis (read: T.B.) joined us for, PANCAKE, and me peeing like six times. In four hours. Seriously.

I am proud to say that my pee is sparkling clear as water. Unlike other people's pee that looks like Mountain Dew. Just saying.

Jen is starting to show and it's exciting.
Wedding talk got underway for next summer.
I need a groomswoman dress. Or a girl's tux. Or Tommy (read: Tuberculosis) to wear a dress. I think I'm going with the first one. I'm thinking a black dress with a bowtie around my neck. Hottt.

Today I told T.B. (read: Tommy) that I used to have a crush on him. Finally.

I'm leaving this public and hoping prospective employers don't take offense to my healthily clear pee.

Re: Women's Tuxedo
I'll take the dress with the bowtie anyday.

Or something like this:

Re: Women's Tuxedo
I vote for the dress with the bow tie, just don't upstage the bride ;)

Re: Women's Tuxedo
I'm flattered. Jen will be a beautiful bride, though :)

Re: Women's Tuxedo
I vote for that one. Or something similar to what the bridesmaids are wearing. And definitely no bowtie.

I like the bowtie idea.

Re: Women's Tuxedo
The bowtie to me, is too "look at me, aren't I cute? I'm a girl doing a boy job!" and could take attention away from bride and groom. I don't think it's that uncommon anymore for girls to be groomsmen, they are often called "honor attendants," if you google that or "female groomsmen" you can find some examples of what other people did. I also think it's kind of silly for a female groomsman to wear a tux.

I like the suggestion here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061117130258AAGjPI1

wear black dress to match black tuxes of groomsmen, with a sash the color of the groomsmens' vests or cummerbunds.

Seriously beautiful dress. I like the other one you posted in the comments above. I love the neck tie idea, too, so psh to those who are pooh-poohing it.
