Wow, that is really cool. It's impressive that we're able to genetically engineer a custom enzyme to grab and cut out HIV DNA.

Seems like there's a way to go, though. There could be all kinds of funky side effects that don't show up in a petri dish.

This is certainly a good start! And there's not much worse that can happen to a person than AIDS, so I'm betting on some willing human test subjects.

would it work for people with aids or mostly health people with HIV?

I'm sure that the farther along you are, the harder it would be to cure. But I have no idea. This is in very beginning stages of development anyway.

that is interesting... i think that they should work on making something affordable since it seems as though a large population of the effected are on continents like africa... you know what i mean?
