my old name!!!
haha, i'm LJ reminiscing, sorry for the use of the old-school name ;-)

anyway, first off, JEALOUS!! like, way way jealous!! how was it?!?!?! (<~~~stupid question)

second of all, i was reading an entry in my journal from 7/23/04, where i was talking about all my future plans (i.e. moving to chicago), and i was all talking about how i wanted to move there and do all these things before i got married and have some adventure in my life.

ANYWAY, you replied with this comment: "I think its a great idea to move there for a couple years, etc.

However, I don't think that getting married and having kids stops the adventure. Maybe its a different kind of adventure, but certainly not a less fulfilling one (I'm not talking about myself at all here, I promise)"

but i just wanted to say that you were wise beyond your years there! because now here it is, almost three years later, and i'm getting married and THEN moving there, but it IS still an adventure--just a different kind than it would be if i were single.

i'm not really sure what the point of this whole comment is, other than i like reminiscing and i liked the comment that you posted back then. :-)~

Re: my old name!!!
The concert was great. I got sprayed with spit-infused bottled water that Chris Daughtry drank out of. He was awesome. My ears are still ringing like mad, though.

Wise beyond my years, maybe, but I won't listen to myself from back then. It seems like a different lifetime ago that I was engaged, and thinking about kids in the very soon future.

I still agree that you can have married adventures, many of them...and I'm sure you will.

Reminiscing is fun, but making memories is fun too! Come back to eljayyy
