Yay! Not that I haven't interviewed you seven times before, but finally, a release from boredom!

1) Where do you know most of your friends from? How long do you keep your friends? Who is your best friend?

2) You have the option to be 50% smarter, but you'd have to grow a third arm, coming out of your back. Would you do it?

3) What was your reasoning for getting your dog Lola?

4) Out of all the musicals you were in, which was your favorite? Why?

5) Same question I asked Matthew awhile back: Rank (y)our aunts and uncles.

1)you already asked me the first question I think.
But most of my friends I know from work or school, or from living together. Most of the people I consider my "best friends" I met at Northwestern. I think the intensity of the time spent together has a lot to do with the strength of the friendship; it's easier to make great friends in college than at work. As to how long I keep them, as long as possible. With some people it's really hard if we're not living in the same city, and the friendship suffers a lot. And with some people it's okay. I've gotten more used to letting people go but it doesn't really get easier. My best friend is Alan. But I have a different bond with him than with girl friends of course. I might laugh the most with Mary, and have the most in common with Anna M. But different friends bring out different things. I miss having really close girlfriends around. I haven't had one BEST girlfriend really since I was a kid. And that's a special kind of relationship too that I also miss.

2)yes, and then probably get it surgically removed. But there are attributes I think might be more useful than smarter. I might be too smart for my own good then. So I might prefer 50% more organized or efficient or focused.

3)The reasoning for getting the dog which is as of yet still unnamed:
-I miss animals a LOT and haven't had a pet in a long time --since Tchoppy. And she's about the size of a cat
-dogs are fun
-Alan is often really busy in the weekday evenings and I have fallen into a pattern of surfing the web or watching tv, I thought I could use some of that time on a dog and also it will help me meet more people.
-because it's a better time to have a dog than a baby

4) It's really hard to choose. Probably had the most fun in the Secret Garden and Charlotte's Web, because of the people, and because the parts were bigger. I enjoyed Follies a lot because it was a cool environment to be in with Tallahassee Little Theater, but the play itself was so-so and my part was tiny. How to Eat Like a Child was also really fun, but Jessica and I were having some issues that made it less fun at times.

5) I prefer not to.

5) what! okay, without ranking, describe why or why not you like each of them.
Feb. 9th, 2007 05:45 pm (UTC)
are you interviewing us, or are we interviewing you?
Feb. 9th, 2007 05:48 pm (UTC)
I'll interview you, and then if you like you can post your interview in your journal and ask others if THEY want to be interviewed. We missed you at lunch! Want to be interviewed?

A comment. Not one of those insightful comments that makes you think about your post in a whole new way, or an irritating comment that just derails the whole point of the conversation, and turns it into a pointless he-said, she-said battle that fills up a whole page plus email inboxes. No, no, not one of those comments. More of a placeholder comment, just to say Hi, I was reading your livejournal, and I'm bored too, so please interview me. Yeah, one of those.

1) You've expressed interest in the past about becoming a Professor. Is that still in your plans, or do you plan to continue to do research? What's your next move career-wise? What about geographically?

2) What's your biggest pet-peeve of all time?

3) What do you think is the best way to learn any given subject? (if there are multiple "best ways" list all of them.

4) (morbid question follows) If you had to either kill yourself, or 10,000 people, which would you do? where's the line?

5) What was that question that dad used to ask about the weight of gold, and to figure out the answer you'd have to shave off part of each coin or something...

1) What's the story behind Blooregard Q. Kazoo?

2) Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10? 50?

3) Where/how did we meet? I'm yet to figure that out, but I'd really like to know.

4) The world is going to end in one week, with no advance warning... except to you. Do you tell people it's going to end? Why or why not?

5) When/if you're bored, what's the first thing you think to do?

Re: interview
Question 3's answer doesn't count, that's where I lived! How did we originally start talking?

boredom rules
1) What exactly is your job? I know it has something to do with.. welfare.. social work.. something...

2) What's baby #2 going to be named if it's a girl? If its a boy? I suggest you not steal Elijah, as Vivi and I are already in battle over it.

3) What's the best way to get over someone?

4) Where would you most like to visit?

5) Fairtax, pro or con?

Re: boredom rules
1. I am an intake/eligibility worker for welfare. I make sure customers meet the eligibility requirements to receive assistance. If they don't turn paperwork in, etc, I deny their case. And if they don't do the things they're supposed to, I close the case. My job was different before December though.

2. Girl name- I have it written down somewhere. I remember liking Danisa, but think there was another I liked better.
Boy name- Jordan Wesley.

3. Best way to truly get over someone is to recognize the relationship for what it was, mourn anything that needs to be mourned, and move on. Detach and don't ever think you made a mistake by not staying together.

4. I'd love to visit Las Vegas. Really, the place doesn't matter. I just want to get a group of fun people together and do a trip. Vegas, Atlantic City, cruise, New York, Disneyland...

5. Fairtax- based on what I just read about it, pro.
