New Years memes-- what! we're only three days in!

I looked up "New Years meme" and found a couple that different people made up. They're not bad.

Meme the First

The categories:
Things you learned this year
People you met
Things you don't want to take with you into 2007
Things you want to hold close as you pass into 2007
Things you're looking forward to in 2007
Things that were life changing in 2006
Things you hope to accomplish by the end of 2007

Now you can either give two answers for each category OR you can choose two from that list and give seven answers

Things I learned this year
1. I can be responsible. I can wake up every morning and get to work every day on time. It's sickening, really.
2. Opposites attract, but it doesn't matter. Opposites eventually realize they aren't compatible.

People I met
1. My T-Tech friends. Honestly, you guys are amazing. It's nice to be so welcomed into your workplace-- and outside of it as well.
2. So many amazing people through LVLC, particularly the adults and children that were so eager to learn and share their life stories.

Things I don't want to take with me into 2007
1. my picky attitude
2. my holdings-on to the past

Things I want to hold close as I pass into 2007
1. my current and wonderful friends
2. my bright and friendly attitude

Things I'm looking forward to in 2007
1. a new, healthy, compatible, romantic relationship
2. moving up in my workplace, possibly

Things that were life changing in 2006
1. Americorps in 2005-2006
2. Intense struggles with morality

Things you hope to accomplish by the end of 2007
1. Several classes with good grades
2. Making gefilte fish with my family

Meme the Second

1. Your biggest accomplishment in 2006?

Deciding back to go to school. That was a very disciplined decision of mine, and the actual deciding to do it was a huge accomplishment for me.

2. Your biggest failure in 2006?

Not putting as much into Americorps VISTA as I could have

3. What is one fear you’d like to overcome in 2007?

Well, dishwashers for one, but also the fear of never reaching my goals. And the fear of not having goals.

4. What is one resolution you’d REALLY like to keep?

I need to be more relaxed and easygoing.

5. Are you going to make any major changes to your blog for 2007?

I'll change the color scheme again, once I don't have people looking over my shoulder. I miss my pink blog :( Unfortunately it's not that professional. The other change I'll make to my blog is that I'm going to be less censored. I'ma tell the whole truth.

6. Any blogging resolutions?

Didn't I just say that? The non-censored stuff.

7. What is one new thing you’d like to learn this coming Year?

Statistics, and not to play in the middle of the street alone (bring a friend!)

8. If you could do ONE thing this New Year and NOT get chastised by, or for it, what would you do?

There are no repercussions at all? Rob a bank.

9. If you could really, and actually, meet one blogger in 2007, who would you want to meet?

I have a list, but I don't think they will happen. I've never met lasunshine or xmellyx. And I definitely want to hang out with a couple users I've met very few times, like lizblizz, _lionhearted_. And I want to be invited to a couple of weddings.

10. Name a GOOD habit you’d like to start in 2007.

Spending more time outside.
