Kiss the cook, please!

I made Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble for the T-Tech Annual Chili Cookoff (about 10 people made chili, everyone else was supposed to bring a side dish or dessert). I wonder how it's going to taste reheated. I really hope it works out okay, cause its fabulous when it's fresh (tboneblue can vouch for that. He ate almost an entire thing)

Unfortunately, I can't really taste anything because I burned my tongue last night. I made some INCREDIBLE soup but it was so good that I had to keep tasting it... and of course it was really super freaking hot right out of the pot.. so I did my tongue some serious damage.

So what soup did I make? I decided to try out the super complicated recipe of Tom Kha. Also known as Thai Coconut soup. Seriously... it was amazing. My version topped ReangThai's version. It was right up there with Surin's Tom Kha. And I bought enough extra stuff that I'm going to make it again tonight :) (actually I need to pick up more tofu, I think). Yay new recipes that make your mouth water!
