I signed up for twelve credit hours for the spring. I am *stupid.* There's no way I can do that plus work two jobs.

I'm going to only do 9, but I haven't decided which to get rid of yet. I eventually need them all. As of now, I'm taking:

US History since 1877
Web Page Authoring
Psychology of Personal and Social Development

Statistics because I need a math. I'm actually really excited about taking this course, because I'm surprisingly a math nerd. US History to replace a bad grade from UF. Web Page Authoring because it will give me my computer competency requirement, plus its web-based so I'd never actually have to go to class, and Psychology because I need the credit anyway, and I've heard amazing things about the professor.

I think I'm getting rid of US Hist. I'll take it this summer, maybe. I definitely want/need to take it because it will majorly boost my GPA. I don't particularly like history, and I haven't had a solid US history class since middle school (anyone that claims APUSH with Marx was a good class needs to be shot). I'd have to study, and I don't want to have to study. So I'll put it off.

I requested my UF transcript to look and see what other credits I'd want to transfer over. Is it sad that I don't remember my grades at all? And that it took me a long time to figure out what my classes were?

It feels weird talking about school again. But I'm ready to do this thing.

Oh, and I qualify for the Honors Program. THAT is messed up.

From the sound of it you should drop the history course. With your day job you'll be busy enough dealing with stats and psych, so doing the web page authoring course (as eye-gougingly boring as it sounds) from home sounds like a good fit.

By the way, which stat class were you looking at? I've been taking a probability course this semester and enjoyed it so much that I was considering continuing with STA 5325 (Mathematical Statistics), which is the graduate version of the undergrad STA 4322 (they are actually the same class, i.e. same prof, time, and place)

it shows on your transcript. you are able to take certain less-than-20-person-higher-level-brag-about-it classes.

you have to meet two of about ten possible requirements.

I meet: high school gpa (over 3.5), SAT (over 1180), ACT (over 25), two honors classes taken at TCC with B or higher (LAT 1120 and LAT 1121 dual enrolled), graduating in top 10 % of hs class (37 out of 376). I don't meet the current GPA requirements and I don't have a couple letters of approval from past profesors (because I don't need them).

yeah, tcc honors program is a joke. I'm doing it only so it looks good on transfer transcripts
