I tend to make friends with political people with strong views-- views that have been set over many many years, that are very strong, that generally align with a candidate that they will support fully.

From the beginning of this election, Obama has gained serious ground against McCain. According to polls, many people have switched their alliances. Not their party, not their views, just their choice of candidate for this election.

Are there any of you on my friends list that have? And if so, do you mind answering why?

I wanted Kucinich.
But actually, I don't let a D or an R dictate who I vote for. I took Individual Rights in the Criminal Justice System. We read U.S. Supreme Court decisions, only the professor blacked out the justices names, so we had to decide for ourselves if we agreed with the decisions, and then we found out which justices we sided with. It was an eye-opening day when I agreed with Rehnquist. That's when I first realized that my views are MY views, and sometimes there's one that someone with an R agrees with more.
